DeepState announced the complete occupation of Pokrovsk and Mirnograd
Russian troops have fully occupied Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in the Donetsk region and are increasing their presence there.
This was stated on Radio NV by Roman Pogorily, co-founder and analyst at DeepState.
According to him, Russian forces are actively bringing infantry into the cities, strengthening their artillery presence, and controlling the airspace, which complicates Ukrainian logistics operations and the potential expulsion of the occupiers.
“Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad are occupied. The enemy is actively moving its forces there. The enemy is actively building up its infantry in large numbers there,” Pogorily said.
He noted that the occupiers are establishing a foothold in the cities for further advancement deeper into the Donetsk region.
According to the analyst’s assessment, Dobropillia could be the next target for Russian troops.
The updated DeepState map also marks Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad as fully occupied.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the elimination of 920 occupiers in the past 24 hours
As a reminder, on May 16, the Ukrainian Armed Forces killed and wounded 1,170 Russian occupiers. The enemy’s total losses in the war have reached 1,348,790 personnel.
