Russia's State Duma Responded to the Record-Breaking Attack on Moscow

Russia's State Duma Responded to the Record-Breaking Attack on Moscow

The most massive drone strike on Moscow sparked a veritable wave of panic, helplessness, and aggression among the Russian Federation’s top political leadership

Russian lawmakers acknowledged that their existing air defense systems are incapable of protecting even the capital of the aggressor nation, so they began openly calling for a radical escalation of strikes against civilian targets.

Following a large-scale nighttime attack, members of the Russian State Duma began openly calling for the total destruction of all Ukrainian civilian and transportation infrastructure.

A particularly sharp and hysterical reaction came from Alexei Zhuravlev, first deputy chairman of the State Duma’s Defense Committee.

The Russian lawmaker made no attempt to hide his deep shock at the fact that approximately 180 attack drones had managed to successfully penetrate Moscow and completely paralyze its vital functions.

“The destruction of all logistics, bridges, and tunnels, along with the bombing of train stations—we must finally start fighting in earnest,” declared the controversial Russian lawmaker.

Zhuravlev effectively admitted, in an official capacity, to the helplessness of the Russian military command, noting that as long as Ukraine retains the ability to manufacture long-range weapons and receive Western aid, “it will be impossible to stop the attacks on Moscow.”

He cited a large-scale offensive aimed at the complete capture of Kyiv as the only real way to save the Russian capital.
