Drones attacked the Dubna Space Communications Center in the Moscow Region
This morning, June 30, Ukrainian drones carried out a successful attack on the strategically important “Dubna” space communications center, located in the Moscow Region.
Video footage shows a massive plume of smoke rising above the facility after the strike.
The “Dubna” center, which has been operating since 1980, is one of the largest ground-based satellite communications complexes in both Russia and Europe.
It serves as a key hub ensuring the operation of satellite communication channels across vast territories.

This facility has a distinct dual-use purpose, as its infrastructure serves not only civilian needs but also government and military communications systems.
“Dubna” manages satellite links and also serves as a hub for broadcasting government and commercial television signals.

The current attack is already the second successful strike on the facility in recent times. A previous raid by Ukrainian drones was recorded on June 22, after which an analysis of satellite imagery confirmed significant damage to the center’s main building.
Video footage from eyewitnesses at the scene is being published by the Exilenova+ Telegram channel.
