Europe and China may launch a new round of peace talks this fall
A new phase of peace talks aimed at ending the war in Ukraine could begin as early as this fall.
This was stated on Channel 24 by Viktor Shlinchak, head of the Institute of World Policy.
Representatives of the European Union and China will likely work together to develop this diplomatic track.
According to the expert, Chinese leader Xi Jinping has already received the maximum possible political and economic benefits from Russia.

Viktor Shlinchak noted a shift in China’s rhetoric in official statements. In its latest communiqué, Beijing clearly emphasized the need to resume active diplomatic contacts.
The expert suggests that the new negotiation process will involve not only European leaders but also authorized representatives from China.
