Two young girls—10-year-old Sofia and 5-year-old Emilia—were killed on August 4 as a result of a Russian airstrike using guided bombs on Sumy. The children were in their own home when the Russian attack cut their lives short. Photos of the deceased sisters have appeared online.
The funeral for the girls will take place on Thursday, August 6.
As a result of the Russian attack, 10-year-old school graduate Sofia Dvornichenko and her 5-year-old sister Emilia were killed.

The school staff expressed their condolences to the parents, relatives, and loved ones of the victims, noting that no words can convey the pain of this loss.
The funeral service will begin on August 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transfiguration Cathedral.
