Video: Magyar's birds hunted eight Russian tankers and a ferry in the Sea of Azov
On the night of July 7, Ukrainian forces struck a number of Russian logistics targets in the Sea of Azov. According to a report from the 414th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems “Madyar’s Birds,” eight tankers belonging to Russia’s so-called “shadow fleet,” as well as a dry cargo ship and a ferry, were struck.
The unit noted that all the struck tankers have been identified and are subject to international sanctions. These are vessels with a deadweight of about 7,000 metric tons and a length of approximately 140 meters, which were used to transport fuel.
According to military sources, Ukrainian drones also struck 58 legitimate military targets in the temporarily occupied territories overnight. Separate reports indicate that energy and logistics facilities in Crimea were hit.
The 414th Brigade emphasized that the operation is part of the effort to disrupt Russian military logistics and fuel supply routes to the occupied territories. Details regarding the consequences of the strikes will be provided later.
