Ukraine’s General Staff updates enemy loss figures for the past day
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have eliminated approximately 1,265,900 Russian troops, including 770 over the past 24 hours. In addition to personnel, the enemy has suffered significant losses in equipment, including tanks, armored vehicles, artillery systems, and drones. The data was released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which provides daily updates on Ukraine’s combat achievements.
According to the General Staff, Russia’s total combat losses as of now include:
- Personnel: approximately 1,265,900 (+770 in the past day)
- Tanks: 11,707 (+1)
- Armored combat vehicles: 24,102 (+5)
- Artillery systems: 37,663 (+32)
- Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,661 (+2)
- Air defense systems: 1,305 (+0)
- Aircraft: 435 (+0)
- Helicopters: 348 (+0)
- Operational-tactical UAVs: 149,637 (+1,616)
- Cruise missiles: 4,384 (+0)
- Warships and boats: 29 (+0)
- Submarines: 2 (+0)
- Vehicles and fuel tankers: 80,329 (+149)
- Special equipment: 4,075 (+0)

“These figures confirm the systematic work of Ukrainian units across all front-line directions,” the General Staff noted. “Despite constant enemy attacks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are successfully destroying both enemy personnel and equipment.”
Particular attention was drawn to drones and artillery, as 1,616 UAVs were destroyed in a single day — a record indicator of the effectiveness of Ukraine’s air defense and fire response. “We continue to deliver precise strikes against critically important enemy targets and destroy its armored and mobile equipment,” the General Staff added. “Each such operation weakens the combat potential of Russian invaders and brings our victory closer.”
Ukrainian military officials also emphasized that enemy losses are recorded not only on the front line but also in the rear, where strikes are carried out against logistical routes, ammunition depots, and vehicle fleets. This disrupts the transfer of forces and ensures the Armed Forces of Ukraine maintain an advantage in key directions.
Additionally, air defense forces shot down almost all drones used by Russia to attack Ukraine. Over the past day, 148 combat engagements were recorded, with the heaviest fighting reported in the Huliaipole sector.
