The General Staff has released a map of combat operations in Ukraine as of June 5, 2026
Over the past 24 hours, 273 combat engagements took place on the front lines between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops.
Ukrainian defenders continue to repel enemy attacks, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment. The most intense fighting took place in the Pokrovsk direction, where our troops repelled 41 assaults by the occupiers.
The military continues to resolutely repel the enemy’s attempts to advance deeper into our territory, inflicting effective fire damage on them. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
War News
The enemy carried out 95 airstrikes, dropping 289 guided bombs. In addition, it deployed 9,875 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,470 shelling attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 44 using multiple launch rocket systems.
Latest news from the front
Over the past day, the Air Force, Rocket Forces, and Artillery of the Defense Forces struck 14 areas of enemy troop concentration, two command posts, and three enemy artillery systems.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions
Over the past day, three clashes took place; the aggressor carried out 6 airstrikes using 18 guided bombs, and fired 89 times at the positions of our troops and populated areas, including nine using MLRS.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction
The enemy attacked the positions of our units 12 times near Staritsa, Lyman, Odradne, and in the direction of Izbytske, Okhrimivka, and Kolodyazne.
In the Kupiansk direction
Our defenders repelled six enemy attempts to advance: in the Novoplatonivka area and toward Kupiansk, Kivsharivka, and Novoosynove.
In the Lyman direction
The enemy attempted 26 times to breach our defenses in the areas of Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Zarichne, Dibrova, Ozerny, and toward Shyikivka and Lyman.
In the Sloviansk direction
The enemy launched 13 assaults near Zakitne, Kaleniky, Riznykivka, and toward the settlements of Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction
The enemy made two futile attempts to dislodge our defenders from their positions near the settlement of Fedorivka Druha and toward Yurkivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector
The occupiers carried out 19 attacks near the settlements of Ivanopillia, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, and in the direction of Kostyantynivka, Stepanivka, Vilne, and Novyi Shakhovyi.
In the Pokrovsk direction
Our defenders repelled 41 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Hryshyne, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, and Horikove, as well as in the direction of the settlements of Vilne, Dorozhne, Shevchenko, Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Oleksandrivka, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector
The enemy attacked 10 times in the areas of Sichneve, Vorone, Ternove, and Verbove.
In the Huliaipole direction
The occupiers carried out 37 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Rybne, Dobropillia, Varvarivka, Sviatopetrivka, Zaliznychne, and toward Pryvillia, Rizdvyanka, Vozdvizhivka, Novoye Zaporizhzhya, Kosivtsevo, Tsvitkovo, Staroukrainka, Krynychne, Hulyaypil, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv direction
The enemy launched a single assault on the positions of our defenders in the area of the settlement of Stepnogorsk.
In the Dnipro direction
Our defenders successfully repelled two offensive operations toward the Antonivsky Bridge.

On June 4, the General Staff updated the map ofhostilities and recorded 279 clashes.
Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate reported on drones with a range of up to 3,500 km.
Ukraine’s unmanned systems forces reported the destruction of two Tu-142 aircraft and an Iskander operational-tactical missile system at a military airfield in Taganrog, Russia.
