General Staff: Defense Forces Have Struck 18 Russian Ships, Oil Refineries, and Oil Terminals

On the night of July 10, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched strikes against a number of Russian military and logistical facilities, hitting 18 ships, an oil refinery, oil terminals, and fuel infrastructure.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the “Ilsky” oil refinery in the Krasnodar Krai was hit, and a fire broke out following the explosions. Also hit were the “Kurgannefteprodukt” oil terminal in Taganrog, the “Azovnefteprodukt” oil depot in Azov, and the “NOVATEK-Ust-Luga” complex in the Leningrad Oblast of the Russian Federation.

In addition, Ukrainian forces struck 13 tankers, three dry cargo ships, a ferry, and a support vessel, which, according to the General Staff, were being used to support Russian military logistics and to transport fuel and other cargo for the army.

There are also reports of a strike on a Russian military fuel and lubricants depot in the Rozyvka area in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

The results of the strikes and the extent of the damage are currently being assessed.

In addition, on the night of July 8, strike drones of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a military airfield in Borisoglebsk, Voronezh Oblast, Russia. This airbase is home to aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces, which are used for both combat and training missions.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have reduced the strength of the Russian army by another 1,260 troops. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released updated data on enemy losses as of July 8, also reporting the destruction of a significant amount of enemy equipment.
