State Duma Speaker Praises Putin’s System for “Stability”

The Speaker of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, urged Russians to value the political system of Vladimir Putin, claiming it ensures stability for the country.

Comparing global tensions with the situation inside Russia, Volodin emphasized what he described as “calm and order” in the state, Russian media reported.

“Look at the world — there is tension, turbulence, explosions, while we have stability. That is something we must cherish,” Volodin said.

According to him, the main task of the authorities is to use this “stability” to develop the country.

The politician did not specify which concrete steps would ensure such development, instead focusing on contrasting global crises with Russia’s internal situation. His remarks come amid a broader Kremlin information campaign portraying Russia as stable while the rest of the world faces chaos.

“We must understand that stability is the foundation for everything we build next,” Volodin added, urging Russians not to take it for granted.

This message reflects a central narrative of Russian authorities — presenting the outside world as dangerous and chaotic while contrasting it with supposed internal “order and calm” in Russia.

Earlier, reports indicated that Russian forces advanced in Kramatorsk district and Bakhmut district.

It was also reported that Russia is experiencing a severe shortage of prison guards.
