In the Dnipropetrovsk region, firefighters worked through the night to extinguish fires following attacks by the Russian Federation

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, firefighters worked through the night to extinguish fires following attacks by the Russian Federation

Russian drones caused major fires in the Synelnykivskyi District of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. A food warehouse and a logistics company building caught fire, and rescue workers had to work on site all night. The fires were successfully extinguished.

In the Synelnykivskyi district, two facilities—a food warehouse and a logistics company building—caught fire following strikes by Russian drones. The fires were extensive, so rescue workers had to work throughout the night. Nearly 40 firefighters and more than 10 pieces of equipment were deployed to extinguish the blazes.

Firefighters worked at both sites, battling the flames to prevent the fires from spreading further. Ultimately, both fires were completely extinguished. “Rescue workers were on the scene all night and extinguished the fires,” the State Emergency Service reported. Russian troops attacked not only the Synelnykivskyi district. The Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih, and Pavlohrad districts were also targeted.

As a result of the attacks, residential buildings, a car, and infrastructure facilities were damaged there. Thus, the Russian strikes caused fires at civilian facilities and property damage in several districts of the region at once. Rescue workers in the Synelnykivskyi district had the most work to do last night. They had to extinguish large-scale fires at a food warehouse and in the building of a logistics company.

After several hours of work, the fire was brought under control. Significant State Emergency Service resources were deployed for this effort—nearly 40 rescue workers and more than 10 pieces of equipment. Russian attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region regularly result in damage to civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, and vehicles. This time, one of the consequences of the strikes was large-scale fires in the Synelnykivskyi district. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops engaged in combat with the Ukrainian Defense Forces 245 times. The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction—43; another 17 assaults took place in the Kostiantynivka direction, and nine each in the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi and Kupianskyi directions.

Over the past day, the Russian army lost another 1,390 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. The Ukrainian General Staff also reported the destruction of three multiple-launch rocket systems, one air defense system, and more than 1,400 drones.
