Ground drones have carried out more than 100,000 missions on the front lines since the beginning of the year
Since the beginning of 2026, ground-based robotic systems have carried out more than 100,000 logistics and evacuation missions on the front lines. This has helped reduce the risks to Ukrainian troops while they carry out dangerous tasks.
Ground drones deliver ammunition, food, and water to the front lines and are also used to evacuate the wounded and the fallen. All completed missions are recorded in the DELTA combat system.
The number of UAV deployments is growing every month. In the first 20 days of August, the systems carried out 15,729 missions, and since the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Defense has contracted for over 22,000 such systems.
This is nearly twice as many as were contracted for the entire previous year. In addition, the military ordered UAVs through Brave1 Market for nearly 1.9 billion hryvnias under the eBaly program.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense has approved over 1,100 new weapon models in the past six months.
The Ministry of Defense has codified and authorized the use of the new Ukrainian-made V-1 unmanned aerial system in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These ultralight bombers are designed to strike concentrations of personnel, vehicles, and armored vehicles.
