temporarily occupied cities of Donetsk, Horlivka, Makiivka, Yasynuvata, and a number of other settlements are currently without electricity. Power surges were observed prior to the power outage.
Such disruptions and widespread power outages in the Russian-occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast have recently become a recurring phenomenon.

New photos of the “Donbas Arena” in occupied Donetsk have appeared online. The stadium, which served as Shakhtar’s home arena until 2014, continues to fall into disrepair.
On August 24, an explosion was reported in occupied Donetsk, and a video of the moment of the attack appeared online. According to preliminary reports, the explosion occurred near Lenin Square.
