A map of military operations in Ukraine as of September 2, 2026, has been released
September 2, 2026, marks the 1,652nd day of full-scale war in Ukraine. Combat operations continue on various fronts.
Over the past day, the Air Force, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 10 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, six drone control centers, five artillery pieces, and one other key enemy target.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors over the past day, our defenders repelled six enemy assaults.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian units repelled seven enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance toward the settlements of Volokhivka, Khatne, and Bochkove, as well as in the area of Vovchanski Khutory and Starytsia.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy launched six attacks toward the settlements of Radkivka, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Kurylivka, Dovhenke, and Kivsharivka.
Attempts to breach our defenses were repelled in the Lyman sector, where the occupiers launched nine attacks toward the settlements of Novoosynove, Drobysheve, Cherneshchyna, Olgivka, Lyman, and Dibrova.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy carried out three assaults toward the settlements of Ozerne, Mykolaivka, and in the Kryva Luka area.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupiers carried out one attack toward Yurkivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, 28 attacks were recorded. The invaders carried out assaults in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Stepanivka, and Sofiivka, as well as toward Novopavlivka and Vilne.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders repelled 25 attacks. The enemy was active near the settlements of Novyi Donbas, Serhiivka, Novopidhorodne, and Novopavlivka, as well as in the areas surrounding the settlements of Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, and Horikove.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian invaders did not carry out any active offensive operations.
In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions 13 times. The enemy attempted to advance toward the settlements of Vozdvizhivka, Rizdvyanka, Verkhnia Tersa, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders repelled two enemy attempts to advance toward Pavlivka.
In the Dnipro sector, the enemy did not carry out any assault operations over the past day.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected.

Rescue workers extinguished fires in three warehouses that broke out following a Russian attack on the Kyiv region. Firefighters put out the blazes at all three sites.
In Kyiv and several regions, an air raid alert was issued on the evening of September 1 at 6:24 p.m. due to the threat of Russian UAVs. The Ukrainian Air Force urged citizens to immediately seek shelter or follow the “two-wall rule” if safe premises were not available.
Ukraine is conducting combat tests of at least four jet interceptors designed to counter Russian jet drones.
