A map of combat operations in Ukraine as of September 3, 2026, has been released
Over the past day, 215 combat engagements took place on the front lines. In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian forces repelled seven enemy attacks, continuing to hold back the Russian forces’ offensive operations.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 98 airstrikes, during which it dropped 353 guided bombs. In addition, the invaders deployed 10,672 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,933 shelling attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, 25 of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems.
In particular, the following settlements came under enemy fire: Bachivsk, Bezsalivka, Korenok, Ulanove, Hirky, Iskryskivshchyna, Malushyne, Neskuchne, Sopych, Atynske, Yanzhulivka, Lomlenka, Rohizne, Volfyne, Potapivka, Kruzhok, Nova Sich, Kucherivka, Sukhodil, Mala Slobidka, Simeychyne, Holyshivske, Budky, and Shpil in Sumy Oblast; Krasnyi Khutir, Chernihiv Oblast.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ air force, missile forces, and artillery struck three areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, seven guns and artillery positions, three UAV command posts, a warehouse-workshop, a command post, and another key facility of the occupiers.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, one enemy assault operation was recorded over the past day. The aggressor carried out 78 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas. It carried out five airstrikes using 11 guided aerial bombs.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian units repelled seven enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance toward the settlements of Lyman, Khatne, Vodyane, Volokhivka, Mala Vovcha, and Starytsia.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to improve its positions nine times by conducting assault operations toward Radkivka, Kivsharivka, and Hlushkivka.
Attempts to breach our defenses were repelled in the Lyman sector, where, according to updated information, the occupiers launched eight attacks toward the settlements of Shyikivka, Dibrova, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, and Lyman.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy carried out eight assaults in the area of the settlement of Kryva Luka and toward Ozerne.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian invaders carried out one offensive operation toward Yurkivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, 25 attacks were recorded. The invaders carried out assaults in the areas around the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Mykolaypillya, Sofiivka, Vilne, and Rusyn Yar.
The enemy carried out 31 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers attempted to advance toward the settlements of Hannivka, Bilytske, Vilne, Dobropillia, Novofedorivka, Novohryshyne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, Myrne, and in the areas of Molodetskyi, Novopidhorodnyi, Hryshyne, and Udachne.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy did not carry out any assault operations.
In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers attacked the positions of our defenders four times. The enemy attempted to advance toward the settlements of Dobropillia, Vozdvizhivka, and Hirke.
In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders repelled five enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Novoandriivka, Novoyakovlivka, Stepove, Primorske, and Mali Shcherbaky.
In the Dnipro sector, the enemy did not attempt to improve its positions.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected.
In total, over the past day, Russian invaders suffered 1,320 casualties. Also neutralized were one armored combat vehicle, 69 artillery systems, four multiple launch rocket systems, two air defense systems, an aircraft (confirmed from the previous period), a helicopter (confirmed from the previous period), 12 ground-based robotic systems, 1,875 unmanned aerial vehicles, 435 enemy vehicles, and three units of special equipment were neutralized.

Ukraine’s air defense forces shot down 135 of the 163 drones used by Russian troops to attack the country’s territory since the evening of September 2.
On September 3, a man was injured in the Boryspil district of Kyiv Oblast as a result of a Russian attack. It is known that one person was wounded by the enemy strike.
In the Khmelnytskyi region, warehouse facilities at one of the enterprises caught fire after debris from a downed Russian strike drone fell on them. The fire covered an area of 200 square meters, according to Serhiy Tyurin, head of the regional military administration.
Over the past day, 15 private homes were damaged in the Mykolaiv region as a result of attacks by Russian Shahed-type attack drones. A social services building and three cars were also damaged, according to Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Head Georgy Reshetilov.
