Near Odesa, Russia launched a drone attack on a dog shelter, causing a fire

On the night of Tuesday, September 29, local media and Telegram channels reported a possible strike on a dog shelter in the Odesa region.

The information emerged during an air raid alert declared due to an attack by Russian jet drones.

After midnight, the local publication “Dumskaya” reported a probable strike on one of the dog shelters.

“Preliminary reports indicate a strike on a dog shelter in the region,” the report stated.

Later, a video appeared online showing a fire that broke out after the suspected strike on the shelter.

Footage of the burning facility was also posted by animal shelter volunteer Olga Shilymina. The video shows a large-scale fire on the grounds of a dog shelter near Odesa.

Information regarding the number of people or animals affected, as well as the extent of the damage, had not been specified at the time of publication.
