Air defense forces shot down 83 aerial targets during a nighttime attack by Russia
On the night of July 3, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with two X-59/69 guided air-to-ground missiles and 105 strike and decoy drones. Air defense forces destroyed or neutralized 83 aerial targets.
The air attack was repelled by the Ukrainian Air Force, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense forces had shot down or neutralized 83 targets—1 X-59/69 guided air-to-ground missile and 82 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber, Italmas, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
One X-59/69 guided air-to-ground missile and 21 attack UAVs were recorded as having struck 16 locations, and debris from downed UAVs was found at 5 locations.

As a reminder, on the evening of June 30, Russian troops attacked an electric locomotive in the Dnipropetrovsk region with a drone. There were no casualties, as the locomotive crew was warned of the danger in time, and the workers managed to take cover.
