Air defense forces shot down 95 of 112 Russian drones on September 29

On September 29, the Russian military launched 112 attack drones against Ukraine. 

Among them were 29 jet-powered drones, as well as “Gerberas,” “Banderolas”/“Dan-T,” and other types of UAVs.

According to preliminary data, Ukrainian air defenses shot down or neutralized 95 drones, including 18 jet-powered ones.

The attack lasted from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. As of 6:00 p.m., several attack UAVs remained in Ukrainian airspace.

A drone strike in the Kyiv region caused a fire in residential buildings; two people were rescued.

As a reminder, debris from a Russian drone caused a fire in a five-story building in Kyiv.

Following Russia’s nighttime attack on Kyiv, an educational institution was hit.
