Putin Is Preparing for the Rapid Mobilization of Hundreds of Thousands of Russians – Zelenskyy
Following a briefing by Oleg Ivashchenko, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that intelligence reports confirm that Russia is preparing for a new wave of mobilization. According to the head of state, the Russian dictator plans to launch an additional “rapid mobilization” in the fall, immediately after the parliamentary elections.
The plan calls for the recruitment of several hundred thousand people by the end of this year and a similar number next year, which will supplement the current recruitment of contract soldiers.
Zelenskyy emphasized that the occupiers’ monthly losses in Ukraine amount to at least 30,000 people (60% of whom are killed), and that the total strength of the enemy forces has been declining due to the actions of the Defense Forces and the use of drones. According to the Kremlin’s plan, additional mobilization and the deployment of troops from North Korea are intended to prolong the war and intensify assaults.
This is stated in Zelenskyy’s Telegram post.
