Russia has intensified its assaults near Pokrovsk — "East" Operational Command
An increase in offensive operations by Russian forces has been reported in the Pokrovsk-Mirnograd urban area.
This was reported by the "Skhid" news agency.
The occupiers are launching assaults on several fronts simultaneously, using light vehicles, ATVs, and infantry groups.
The enemy has concentrated its main efforts in the Hryshyne area and in the direction of Rodynske, attempting to advance along the flanks.
In Hryshyne, small-arms firefights are ongoing—Ukrainian units are holding back the enemy and blocking its advance.
On the northern outskirts of Pokrovsk, the Defense Forces are holding their positions and thwarting breakthrough attempts.
Fighting is also ongoing in the Myrnohrad–Rodynske direction, where the enemy is being stopped and eliminated.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces repelled 57 assault attacks in the Pokrovsk sector.
Defense forces are intensifying aerial reconnaissance, mining enemy advance routes, and striking at their logistics.
As a reminder, drones attacked a strategic oil terminal in the Leningrad region.
Drones also attacked the Saratov region, with over 60 explosions reported.
