Russia attacked the Odesa region; port infrastructure was set ablaze
On the night of August 12–13, Russian forces attacked the Izmail District of the Odesa Region with strike drones. Port infrastructure was hit, resulting in damage and a fire.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, groups of Russian attack drones had been heading toward the Odesa region since the start of the new day. After 1:12 a.m., the drones were detected, in particular, in the Izmail area.
The operational headquarters of the Izmail District State Administration confirmed the attack.
“On the night of August 13, the enemy attacked the Izmail district again. The enemy struck the port infrastructure. The attack caused damage and sparked a fire,” the statement reads.
Currently, State Emergency Service units are on the scene and are dealing with the aftermath of the Russian attack. The extent of the damage has not yet been specified.

As a reminder, two people were killed in the Korabelny district of Kherson as a result of a Russian drone attack. Russian troops have once again struck the city’s civilian population.
In Kherson, the search operations under the rubble of an educational institution have been completed.
As a reminder, the Russian online marketplace Ozon evacuated employees from its logistics center in Zelenodolsk (Tatarstan) due to the threat of an attack by Ukrainian drones. After the alert ended, the warehouse resumed normal operations.
On the morning of July 31, drones attacked a warehouse complex in Zelenodolsk (Tatarstan, Russian Federation), where the logistics facilities for the Ozon and Wildberries marketplaces are located. Following this, a number of Ukrainian sources reported that strikes on Ozon warehouses might continue.
