Russia attacked Ukraine with 133 drones; air defense forces shot down 111 drones
On the night of August 13, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 133 strike drones, including Shaheds, rocket-powered UAVs, “Gerberas,” and “Parody” decoy drones.
The drones were launched from Russian territory and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine—specifically from the Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Donetsk, and Gvardeysk districts in occupied Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by the Ukrainian Air Force, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, Ukrainian air defenses had destroyed or neutralized 111 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, “Gerbera,” and other types.
The drones were neutralized in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
At the same time, airstrikes were recorded at 15 locations.
In addition, debris from downed drones was found at 16 locations.
As of 8:00 a.m., several enemy drones remained in Ukrainian airspace, so the air attack was still ongoing.
Ukrainians were urged to follow safety guidelines and not to ignore air raid alerts.

On the night of August 12, Russian troops attacked Chernihiv with rocket-powered drones. The strikes damaged several garages belonging to a car cooperative and the premises of local businesses, and a fire broke out.
On the evening of August 12, Russian occupiers attacked two men with a drone in the Korabelny district of Kherson. Both civilians were killed in the strike.
On the night of August 13, Russian troops attacked the Izmail district of the Odesa region with strike drones. Port infrastructure was hit, resulting in damage and a fire.
In Kherson, the search operations under the rubble of an educational institution have been completed.
