Russia attacked Ukraine with 150 drones and missiles; air defense forces shot down 124 UAVs
On the night of August 25, Russia attacked Ukraine with an “Iskander-M” ballistic missile, an X-31P air-launched missile, and 150 attack drones.
The attack began at 6:00 p.m. on August 24. Russian forces deployed Shahed-type UAVs, including jet-powered ones, “Gerbera” drones, and “Parody” decoy drones.
The launches were carried out from the directions of Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast, and Gvardeyskoye in occupied Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m., air defense forces had shot down or neutralized 124 enemy UAVs, including Shahed, “Gerbera,” and other types.
The drones were destroyed or neutralized in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
At the same time, airstrikes were recorded at 17 locations. Debris from downed Russian targets fell at seven additional locations.
The Air Force reported that, at the time of this announcement, several enemy drones remained in Ukrainian airspace.
Ukrainians were urged to follow safety guidelines and not to ignore air raid alerts.

On the night of August 25, Russian drones attacked the “Vynogradivka–Vulkeniști” international border crossing on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border. The strike damaged infrastructure and caused a fire, and operations at the checkpoint were temporarily suspended.
As a reminder, Russia attacked warehouses and energy facilities in the Odesa region.
Earlier, drones attacked Ozon logistics centers in two regions of Russia at once.
Drones also attacked Krasnodar and caused a fire at a warehouse.
Earlier, warehouses caught fire in Akulovo, near Moscow.
