Russia struck the Dnipropetrovsk region—a three-month-old boy was killed

Since this evening, Russian troops have attacked three districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 20 times. As a result of the strikes in Marhanets, a three-month-old boy was killed, and 11 other people were injured, including two children. During the attack, the Russians used drones, artillery, and an aerial bomb.

 

Marganets, in the Nikopol district, was hit hardest by the nighttime attack. Russian troops struck a four-story residential building. A three-month-old boy was killed in the strike. Another 11 people were injured. Among the injured were two children. A 5-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

A 39-year-old man and women aged 33, 62, 41, and 40 also required medical attention. Four of the injured will receive outpatient treatment. “A child was killed. Eleven people were injured, including two children. The enemy attacked three districts of the region more than 20 times using drones, artillery, and aerial bombs,” said Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

Buildings and civilian facilities were damaged in the city

A strike on a residential building caused a fire. State Emergency Service rescuers arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze. In Marhanets, apartment buildings, a store, a movie theater, and cars were also damaged.

Nikopol and the Pokrovsk community were also targeted by Russian strikes. Attacks on the Nikopol region continued throughout the night. Russian troops used drones and artillery.

The Russians attacked two more districts in the region

It wasn’t just the Nikopol district that came under attack. In the Synelnykiv district, Russian troops attacked the Mykolaiv, Pokrovska, and Vasylkiv communities. An agricultural enterprise and a community center were damaged there.

In the Samarivsky district, Russian forces struck the Pishchanska community. A private home was damaged as a result of the attack. In total, according to Oleksandr Hanzha, Russian forces have attacked three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 20 times since the evening.

They used drones, artillery, and aerial bombs in the strikes. The attack had the most severe consequences for Marhanets, where a Russian strike claimed the life of a young child and injured 11 other people.
