September 3 Russia has attacked Ukraine; there are fatalities and more than 75 people wounded
Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has attacked Ukrainian cities and villages with drones, artillery, and aircraft. According to preliminary reports, at least three people were killed and more than 75 were injured, including children.
Throughout September 3, Russian forces carried out strikes in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Kharkiv, Sumy, Kherson, and Donetsk regions, as well as in Kropyvnytskyi.
The highest number of casualties was reported in Odesa, Kyiv, and the Kharkiv region. In various regions, Russian strikes damaged residential buildings, vehicles, businesses, and other civilian infrastructure.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, one person was killed and 14 others were injured as a result of Russian attacks. Russian forces struck Dnipro, the Nikopol region, and the Pavlohrad district. Attacks on Dnipro continued throughout the day. A fire broke out in the suburbs after one of the strikes. Warehouses belonging to a logistics company caught fire.
Initial reports indicated four people were injured. Later, the number of injured rose to five, and it was confirmed that one person had died. “The warehouses of a logistics company caught fire as a result of the enemy strike,” said Serhiy Lysak, head of the regional military administration. One of the injured is a 20-year-old man. He was hospitalized in serious condition. The other injured individuals were examined by medical personnel.
Kyiv and the Region
Russian attacks also resulted in casualties and injuries in Kyiv and the region. As of 10:00 p.m., 13 people were reported injured in the capital and one fatality. In the Kyiv region, four more people were injured during the day.

In Odesa, 17 people, including three children, were injured as a result of a nighttime attack by Russian drones. The strike damaged a 21-story residential building. Damage was reported in apartments on floors 10 through 17.
Cars were also damaged. As a result of the shelling, three high-rise buildings, six private homes, an administrative building, and a humanitarian aid distribution center were damaged. Agricultural equipment and private vehicles were also damaged.
Donetsk Region
In Donetsk Oblast, Russian troops attacked Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Yasnogorka, and Sukhanivka. Four people were injured as a result of the shelling. Russian troops continue to target settlements in the region, where the civilian population regularly suffers from drone, artillery, and other attacks.
Kropyvnytskyi
In the evening, it was reported that another person had been injured in Kropyvnytskyi. Details regarding the circumstances of the explosion and the person’s condition were being clarified.
