Russia launched 92 attack drones at Ukraine overnight
On the night of September 7, Russia attacked Ukraine with 92 strike UAVs of various types. Ukrainian defense forces shot down or neutralized 71 enemy targets, including Shahed, “Gerbera,” “Parody,” and “Banderol” drones.
The air attack was repelled by the Ukrainian Air Force, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m., air defense forces had shot down or neutralized 71 enemy UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types.
Enemy airstrikes were recorded at 12 locations, and debris from downed drones was found at one location, according to the Air Force.

In Sochi, Russia, an attack by drones on the seaport was reported. Local residents reported loud explosions in the city center, after which people were urged to leave the port area.
On the night of September 2, the Moscow Region of Russia came under a massive drone attack. According to the region’s governor, Andrei Vorobyov, Russian air defense forces allegedly shot down 56 drones over the region.
