Over the past 24 hours, the Russians have attacked the Zaporizhzhia region 945 times
Over the past 24 hours, on September 8, Russian troops carried out 945 strikes on 46 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. One person was killed and seven others were wounded as a result of the attacks.
This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, co-chair of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Defense Council, on Telegram.
“One person was killed and seven others were wounded as a result of enemy strikes on Zaporizhzhia, the Zaporizhzhia District, and the Polohivsky District. In total, over the past 24 hours, the occupiers carried out 945 strikes on 46 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region,” the post reads.
According to Fedorov, Russian forces carried out 18 airstrikes on Komyshuvas, Zapasne, Yuliivka, Zaporizhets, Zalivne, Lyubytske, Omelnyk, Preobrazhenka, Vasynivka, Chervona Krynytsia, Chervonyi Yar, and Rivne.
In addition, 742 UAVs of various types (primarily FPV) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Vilniansk, Malokaterynivka, Kushuhum, Chervonodniprovka, Bilenke, Hryhorivka, Richne, Novoyakovlivka, Zapasne, Veselyanka, Novotroitske, Mykhailivka, Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Pavlivka, Lukyanivske, Plavni, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanilivka, Novopavlivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Vozdvizhivka, Hirke, Staroukrainka, Preobrazhenka, Novoselivka, Kosivtseve, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Verkhnia Tersa, Chervona Krynytsia, Omelnyk, Luhivske, and Rivne.
Mortar fire targeting Lukyanivskyi was also recorded.
The occupiers carried out 184 artillery strikes on Chervonodniprovka, Hryhorivka, Richne, Zaporozhets, Zapasne, Novoyakovlivka, Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Pavlivka, Lukyanivske, Plavni, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Staroukrainka, Novozaporizhzhia, Shcherbaky, Novopavlivka, Chervona Krynytsia, Omelnyk, Luhivskyi, Novoselivka, Hirkom, Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvyzhivka, Rivne, and Kosivtseve.
There were 37 reports of damage to infrastructure, homes, vehicles, and farm buildings, Fedorov noted.
In the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, a Russian attack drone struck a 16-story residential building. Information regarding possible casualties is currently being verified.
Since the evening of September 8, Russian troops have shelled four districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 20 times. The occupiers used drones in the attacks, and three people were injured as a result of the strikes.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to an attack by the Russian Federation.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
