Russians attacked the Sumy region more than 30 times over the past 24 hours
From the morning of September 7 through the morning of September 8, Russian troops carried out more than 30 strikes on the Sumy region. Fourteen settlements came under fire, and one person was wounded.
The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram.
In the Sumy community, a 65-year-old man was injured as a result of a Russian drone strike.
The enemy used mortars, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs.
In the Sumy community, civilian infrastructure, a private residential building, a car, and a non-residential building were damaged.
In the Novoslobodsk community, a farm building was damaged.
In the Zno-Novgorod community, residential buildings were damaged and destroyed.
In the Seredyna-Bud community, residential buildings were destroyed.
In the Sveska community, a residential building was destroyed.
In the Esman community, residential buildings were destroyed.
In the Shalyginsk community, a residential building was destroyed.
In the Shostka community, a private residential building and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged.
In the Bezdrytska community, a car was damaged.

“We’re seeing good results in shooting down cruise missiles, but it’s not easy with ballistic missiles,” said Zelenskyy.
On September 8, Russian troops struck a Kyiv–Sumy train with two “Shahed” missiles. The train had been stopped in advance, and passengers and crew members were evacuated following a warning from the Ukrzaliznytsia monitoring team.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to the Russian Federation’s attack.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
Later, rescue workers showed the aftermath of the strikes on Kyiv.
