The Russians destroyed a post office in the Hlukhiv community in Sumy Oblast

On the night of August 6–7, Russian troops attacked the Hlukhiv community in Sumy Oblast, completely destroying the local post office.

Due to the enemy strike, the facility sustained significant damage and has effectively ceased to function. Details regarding the consequences of the attack are being clarified.

According to him, the enemy attacked civilian infrastructure with a strike drone. The building sustained significant damage.

Preliminary reports indicate that no one was injured.

Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

In Borodianka, operations have resumed at the central Ukrposhta branch that had been destroyed by the Russians.

Despite the damage caused by the strikes, Ukrposhta employees were able to quickly resume operations so that community residents would not be left without essential services. This was reported by Ihor Smilianskyi, CEO of JSC “Ukrposhta.”

Ukraine has begun implementing large-scale projects designed to make water supply systems more resilient to war, shelling, and power outages. In 14 regions, water mains are being modernized, new equipment is being installed, and backup water sources are being established.
