Russian drones carried out a massive attack on Sumy’s civilian infrastructure
On the night of 17 February, the Sumy community came under a massive attack by Russian strike drones.
The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleg Hryhorov, reported the incident on his official Telegram channel.
According to preliminary information, several hits were recorded on civilian infrastructure facilities located in the central part of the city.
The regional head noted that, so far, there is no information about deaths or injuries among civilians.
The situation in the regional centre remains tense due to the threat of repeated strikes by enemy drones.
“All consequences will be clarified after inspections of the areas, once the security situation allows,” Oleg Hryhorov emphasised in his address to residents.
It is worth noting that in Kherson, the Russians attacked a hospital, injuring two female staff members.
Russian drones also targeted houses in the Okhtyrka district.
