Russian troops launched a massive attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region
On Sunday, March 22, Russian occupation forces carried out more than 30 attacks on three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, using artillery and drones.
The Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration reported this on Telegram.
As a result of the enemy shelling, two civilians were killed, and significant damage to infrastructure and the private sector was recorded.
The Nikopol district was hit hardest, with the city of Nikopol, as well as the Pokrovska, Marganetska, and Chervonohryhorivska communities, coming under fire.
Official sources report direct hits on several businesses and a private home, which caused fires.
“Several businesses and a private home were damaged. A car caught fire. Unfortunately, two people were killed,” the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration stated.
Emergency services were on the scene to extinguish the fires and assist the victims.
In addition to the Nikopol district, the Novopokrovsk community in the Dniprovskyi district came under fire, where a car was burned as a result of the attack.
The enemy continues to deliberately target civilian objects, ignoring all norms of international humanitarian law.
In the Kryvyi Rih district, a strike was recorded in the Zelenodolsk community, where a residential building was damaged.
It is also reported that in Kryvyi Rih itself, certain infrastructure facilities were hit, which affected the city’s daily functioning.
The military administration urges residents of the region to strictly follow safety guidelines and remain in shelters during air raid alerts.
As a reminder, the Russians attacked Sloviansk with high-explosive bombs.
