Sibiga called the attack on the Olein plant in Dnipro an act of terrorism against U.S. business

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga stated that the Russian strike on the Bunge agricultural enterprise in Dnipro is part of Moscow’s systematic terrorist campaign against American civilian businesses and U.S. economic interests. The facility belongs to the American agribusiness giant and is known for producing sunflower oil under the “Oleina” brand.

The diplomat emphasized that this attack was no coincidence, as it occurred just a few weeks after a similar attack on another U.S. business in the Sumy region. According to Sibiga, such attacks underscore the urgent need to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense and increase pressure on the Russian regime to end the war and transition to substantive diplomacy.

This is stated in Sibiga’s post on the social media platform X.

As a result of the Russian strike in Dnipro, a food processing plant owned by an American company—which produces “Oleina” sunflower oilwas damaged. Photos showing the aftermath of the attack were released from the site.

As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region as a result of the Russian attack.
