The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation announced the first results of the so-called State Duma elections
The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation has released the first results of the vote count in the State Duma elections. With 13.88% of the vote tallies processed, the ruling United Russia party has received 57.54% of the vote.
The Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) is in second place with 13.67%, and the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) is in third with 9.27%. According to the election commission, “New People” with 7.96% and “Fair Russia” with 5.16% of the vote are also set to enter the Russian State Duma.
In addition, the pro-government polling agency VTsIOM released data from its exit poll, which also points to an alleged victory for Putin’s party.

- “Fair Russia” – 6.6%.
For comparison, in the 2021 State Duma elections, the parties received the following results:

Voting in Russia lasted three days—from September 18 to 20—and voter turnout, according to official data, was 56.66%.

A three-day voting period for the State Duma elections began in Russia on September 18. It will continue until September 20. At the same time, even before the main voting began, independent Russian media and representatives of opposition forces reported pressure on observers, coercion of public sector employees, and possible violations during the organization of the vote.
Russia is preparing to hold illegal “elections” to the State Duma in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Voting is scheduled for September 18–20, 2026.
Through its Foreign Intelligence Service, Russia has launched a new propaganda campaign to create the illusion of legitimacy for the September “elections” to the State Duma. A statement from the SVR claims that the EU, PACE, and Western intelligence agencies are allegedly preparing acts of destabilization, cyberattacks, and provocations, as well as enlisting the Russian opposition to discredit the vote.
