Drones attacked an oil refinery in Ufa, Russia

On June 25, explosions were heard in Ufa, Russia, after which a thick plume of black smoke was visible near one of the industrial facilities. 

According to preliminary reports, the strike may have targeted an oil refinery.

It is also reported that on the same day, in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, an oil depot in the village of Poltavskaya caught fire following a drone attack. According to local sources, three fuel tanks are on fire there.

In addition, a previous incident is mentioned—on the morning of June 16, 2026, drones attacked an oil refinery in the Kapotnya district (Moscow), where a large-scale fire also broke out.

Information about the consequences of the strike on Ufa and the extent of the damage is currently being clarified.

On the night of June 25, occupied Crimea came under another drone attack. Explosions were heard in various parts of the peninsula, and as a result of strikes on energy infrastructure facilities, power was temporarily cut off in Simferopol, Yalta, and Yevpatoria.

The Moscow Oil Refinery, which was attacked overnight, controls one-third of the Russian capital’s fuel market.

Russian drones struck the Zaporizhzhia region, leaving several people injured.
