Strike on a equipment warehouse in Odesa region: occupiers destroy boilers and heaters

Russian forces carried out a new strike on the Odesa region overnight, targeting civilian infrastructure.

According to Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper, the region was attacked with several dozen strike drones.

The attack caused a large fire at one of the local enterprises, where household appliances were stored. Despite the powerful explosion and flames, there were no injuries or fatalities, as no people were present at the site of impact.

The fire quickly engulfed the warehouse containing household appliances, including boilers and heaters—items especially important during the winter period. Rescue teams promptly arrived on the scene, contained the fire, and prevented it from spreading to neighboring buildings.

Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the State Emergency Service (DSNS), a nearby warehouse of a logistics company storing civilian goods was saved. The fire was fully extinguished, but the building housing the appliances was severely damaged.

According to regional authorities, specialized services continue to work at the site. Experts are documenting the consequences of the strike, assessing the scale of the damage, and collecting fragments of the enemy drones.

Such attacks again demonstrate that the enemy deliberately targets facilities unrelated to military infrastructure. It is a deliberate form of pressure on civilians, who rely on heat and electricity during the winter.

On the night of December 16, Russian forces carried out a massive attack on Ukraine with strike drones from multiple directions, with the main blows targeting the eastern and southern regions.
