Ukraine has endured one of the most intense air attacks in recent times, during which air defense forces were able to shoot down 95% of enemy drones.
This was reported by Defense Minister Advisor Serhiy Flesh.
According to him, Russian troops attempted to overwhelm Ukrainian air defense with a massive deployment of attack drones—over 1,500 per day. About 30% of them were shot down using interceptor drones.
Flesh noted that the main threat this time was not drones, but missiles that struck Kyiv, specifically residential buildings and civilian industrial sites.
According to him, the targets of the attack included critical infrastructure, Ukrzaliznytsia, and logistics facilities. He also stated that Russian troops were launching repeated strikes on the same locations, attempting to target rescue workers.
