Ukrainian drones destroyed two Russian Msta-S systems in the Vovchansk area

Ukrainian drones destroyed two Russian Msta-S systems in the Vovchansk area

Ukrainian drone operators struck two Russian 2S19 “Msta-S” self-propelled artillery systems in the Vovchansk direction. As a result of the drone strikes, the enemy lost two artillery systems at once

“Two Russian 2S19 ‘Msta-S’ self-propelled artillery units were hiding behind enemy lines in the Vovchansk direction. But being behind enemy lines does not guarantee safety from our drone operators,” the statement reads.

Pilots from the Ares artillery reconnaissance battery of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Koshovy Ataman Kostya Gordienko, together with the “Bulava” unmanned systems battalion of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Cossacks of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, detected and destroyed these self-propelled artillery units.

“A target like this isn’t just a matter of ‘seeing it and guiding the drone.’ Self-propelled artillery units constantly change positions, camouflage themselves, operate at a distance, and take cover behind enemy lines. Therefore, every system destroyed is the result of the precise and coordinated work of our soldiers,” the military noted.

The 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Koshovy Ataman Kostya Gordienko reported this on Facebook and released a video of the combat operation.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 1,310 occupiers in the past 24 hours.

As a reminder, during the offensive operation in the Oleksandrivka sector, which lasted from January to August 2026, 26 settlements in three regions were liberated.

Earlier, the General Staff confirmed a strike on the TANECO oil refinery in Tatarstan.

Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers lost 1,130 troops and more than 400 pieces of military equipment.
