The Russian attack on the Kyiv region has resulted in deaths and injuries

Throughout September 27, Russian troops continued to attack the Kyiv region, despite the efforts of air defense forces. The strikes damaged 21 civilian facilities, resulting in fatalities and injuries.

 

This was reported by Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration. Residents of the region were urged not to ignore air raid alerts.

“The enemy continues to attack the Kyiv region with strike drones. Over the past 24 hours, only civilian facilities have been targeted. Unfortunately, three residents of the region were killed as a result of the enemy attacks, and eight more people were injured,” the statement said.

The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration specified that over the past 24 hours, the enemy damaged 21 civilian facilities in five districts of the region. In the Brovary district—2 warehouses and 2 administrative buildings; in the Bucha district—a private residence, a market, and 6 vehicles.

As a reminder, Ukrainian defense forces damaged five workshops at a military plant in Russia.

On the night of September 26, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of key facilities on Russian territory that support the Russian military machine. Among them were the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant in the Rostov region and the “Ilsky” oil refinery in the Krasnodar region.

As a reminder, the Perm Oil Refinery in Russia ceased operations following an attack by Ukrainian drones on September 25. According to Reuters, a fire broke out at the facility, and pipelines, storage tanks, and processing units were damaged. It is not yet known when the refinery will be able to resume operations.
