Since the start of the day, Russia has attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces positions on the front lines 53 times

Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 53 times. The enemy has concentrated its efforts on the Pokrovsk and Sloviansk sectors, where the heaviest fighting is taking place.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers carried out 17 assaults in the areas of Shevchenko, Nikanorivka, Novyi Donbas, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Myrne, and Udachne. 

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian troops attempted 14 times to break through Ukrainian defenses near Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Riznykivka. Some of the fighting in these sectors is still ongoing.

The enemy also launched attacks in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna, Lyman, Kostiantynivka, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, and Oleksandrivka sectors. Ukrainian forces repelled a series of assaults, although fighting continues in some areas.

At the same time, no attempts to advance were recorded in the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors. However, the Russian army carried out three airstrikes using nine guided bombs and conducted 50 artillery strikes. In addition, border settlements in the Sumy region came under fire.

The Ministry of Defense has standardized and authorized the use of the new Ukrainian-made B-1 unmanned aerial system within the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These ultra-light bombers are designed to strike concentrations of personnel, vehicles, and armored equipment.
