On August 21, Russian forces attacked Kryvyi Rih’s largest shopping complex with a strike drone.
The strike caused a fire, resulting in one fatality and several injuries.
According to Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, an emergency rescue operation began at the scene after the first strike. He later reported a second attack on the shopping complex by a “Shahed” jet-powered drone.
One person was killed and 12 others were injured as a result of the strike. Stores inside the shopping center are on fire.
Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, reported that the shopping center sustained significant damage and caught fire.
On August 18, the Russian armykilled one resident of the Donetsk region and wounded four others.
As a result of the Russian attack on August 18, the premises of the “Kyivguma” factory in Brovary,Kyiv Oblast,were damaged. Noemployeeswere injured, and the damage, according to preliminary estimates,is not critical.
On the evening ofAugust 18 and overnight on August 19,Russian troopsattacked the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblastmore than 10 times with drones and artillery. As a result of the shelling, an administrative building, a private home,and other civilian structures were damaged, and a fire broke out. According to preliminary data, there were no fatalities or injuries.
