Video: A factory in Cheboksary that manufactures components for Iskander missiles has been attacked
In Cheboksary, Russia, the VNDIR-Progress facility was attacked; according to open-source reports, the facility manufactures components for Shahed attack drones and Iskander missile systems. A missile alert had been issued in the region prior to the incident. Details regarding the extent of the damage are still being determined.
Local residents are posting photos and videos showing thick smoke enveloping the city.
The plant manufactures "Kometa" adaptive antennas to protect "Shahed" strike drones and guided munitions from electronic warfare systems, as well as satellite signal receivers for "Kalibr" and "Iskander" missiles.
