Video: In Mariupol, the occupiers are forcibly seizing local residents' apartments

In the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol, Russians continue to seize the homes of local residents. Journalist and blogger Denis Kazansky reported on this in his article, publishing a video of one such incident.

According to him, the properties are simply re-registered in the Russian registry, after which the legal owners are told that Ukrainian documents for the apartment are no longer recognized.

In the published video, a relative of the owners tries to show the documents for the property, but the man, who introduces himself as the new owner, refuses to accept them. The woman also says that her family’s dacha was previously taken away from them.

Kazansky notes that in the occupied city, local residents are being evicted from their homes, locks are being changed, and other people are being moved in.
