Two people were killed and 16 were injured as a result of Russian shelling in the Sumy region
Russian troops carried out a series of strikes on the Sumy region. As a result of the shelling, two people were killed and 16 others were wounded, according to the National Police of Ukraine.
“In the Seredyna-Budsk community, two men, aged 40 and 64, were killed as a result of mortar shelling. Four other men and one woman were injured,” the law enforcement agency stated in its report.
In addition, in the Sumy community, a 52-year-old man and five women aged 68 to 84 were injured as a result of strikes by guided aerial bombs (GABs), and another man was injured in an attack by an enemy drone.
Four people (three women and one man) who were injured on September 29 by a Russian UAV strike in the Seredino-Budsk community also sought medical attention.
Police investigative teams and emergency services worked at the sites of the strikes. Investigators opened criminal cases under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding violations of the laws and customs of war.

Since the evening of September 30, Russian troops have attacked the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast more than ten times. A civilian man was killed as a result of the strikes.
