Enemy attacks Kherson: one man killed, three civilians injured
On December 25, 2025, Russian forces shelled settlements in the Kherson region. As a result of the attacks, one man was killed and three civilians were injured. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.
The enemy used artillery, mortars, and various types of drones. In the morning, an 89-year-old woman was injured in the village of Chornobaivka and was hospitalized. Around midday in Kherson, a 47-year-old man was killed, while a 50-year-old local resident was wounded. At approximately 04:50 p.m., another man, aged 27, was injured as a result of shelling in the regional center.
The prosecutor’s office has launched a pre-trial investigation into alleged war crimes (Parts 1 and 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The injured are receiving medical assistance, and law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the attacks and damage to civilian infrastructure.
“The enemy continues to destroy peaceful areas, targeting residential neighborhoods and social infrastructure facilities. We are recording every case and will hold those responsible accountable,” the prosecutor’s office stated.
