An enemy attack in the Kyiv region claimed one life and damaged an industrial facility
In the Brovary community of Kyiv Oblast, an industrial infrastructure facility was hit as a result of an enemy attack on the night of August 20. One person was killed in the strike, according to Brovary Mayor Ihor Sapozhko.
One person was killed in the strike, and two others were injured. Medical personnel treated one of the victims at the scene, but he refused hospitalization. The other injured man, born in 1966, was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
“As a result of the enemy attack, an industrial infrastructure facility within our community was struck. As of now, unfortunately, there is information about one fatality. Two more people were injured. One received medical care at the scene and refused hospitalization. The other man, born in 1966, was taken to the hospital; he is in serious condition and is receiving all necessary medical care,” wrote Mayor Ihor Sapozhko.
Earlier reports indicated that an accident at power facilities in the Brovary community was caused by an enemy attack. According to Brovary Mayor Ihor Sapozhko, utility workers will begin to address the consequences of the emergency as soon as the security situation in the city allows.
