Over a thousand people convicted of collaboration in 2025

The Prosecutor’s Office and law enforcement continue to systematically document cases of citizens actively cooperating with the occupation authorities.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

Just last week, 14 new suspicions of collaboration were announced. The cases involve individuals who agreed to work in structures created by the occupiers or assisted them with resources and organization.

Law enforcement emphasizes that these are not isolated incidents, but a network of roles that supported the functioning of occupation “institutions.”

Among the documented cases are: working in “administrations” in Luhansk, performing organizational and administrative tasks that ensured control over occupied territories.

Serving in units of the so-called “police” and Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, including leadership positions, where suspects participated in maintaining “order” for the aggressor state.

Working in illegal courts in Crimea and Sevastopol, effectively carrying out “justice” according to the occupiers’ rules.

Activity in illegal customs offices, where cargoes were processed under Russian law, legitimizing the occupiers’ economic activities.

Organizing pseudo-voting procedures in occupied territories, including participation in “local election commissions” in Zaporizhzhia, which facilitated sham elections and created a false image of legitimacy.

Collaborating in business schemes with occupation authorities, generating multi-million profits for participants.

Providing material and organizational support to implement occupiers’ decisions.
