Over the past day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have eliminated nearly 1,400 Russian occupiers — General Staff
On Wednesday, June 17, nearly 1,400 Russian terrorists were eliminated on the front lines. Thus, the total number of occupiers neutralized since the full-scale invasion in 2022 stands at approximately 1,388,050.
Also on June 17, the Russian invaders lost:
- five tanks (total losses since the full-scale invasion: 12,038 units),
- four armored combat vehicles—24,779 units
- 71 artillery systems—44,240 units
- three multiple-launch rocket systems—1,877 units
- Four air defense systems—1,431 units
- Seven ground-based robotic systems—1,684 units
- 1,996 operational-tactical-level UAVs – 357,589 units
- 431 vehicles and tankers – 108,425 units
- Three units of specialized equipment – 4,306 units.

As a reminder, the great-grandson of former CPSU Central Committee General Secretary Leonid Brezhnev was allegedly captured by Ukrainian forces during the war against Ukraine.
Ukrainian defenders killed Russian serviceman Vladislav Makayev, who was previously a Moscow arm-wrestling champion. The invader was killed on May 24, 2026.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated a female deputy from United Russia who had gone to fight against Ukraine.
