Residents of Tuapse are complaining about an environmental disaster and constant drone attacks

Residents of Tuapse, Russia, are increasingly complaining about the unbearable living conditions in this frontline town.

Once a popular resort, it has turned into an area of environmental disaster and constant danger due to regular explosions at local industrial facilities.

In addition to the constant threat from the sky, the city suffers from water pollution. Following recent incidents at an oil refinery, the shoreline was flooded with fuel oil, making swimming impossible and hazardous to health.

“I wanted to live by the sea with my child. The sea is now covered in this fuel oil! Everything is ruined!” one local resident emotionally expressed on social media.

Her outrage stems not only from the state of the water but also from the complete inaction of local authorities in addressing the consequences of the oil spill.
