Photos have emerged of destroyed Mi-8 helicopters and aircraft at the Rostov airport following a Ukrainian strike
As a result of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Russian military airfield “Rostov-Central,” four enemy aircraft were destroyed. This is evidenced by photos that have appeared on social media.
According to analysts from the OSINT project “CyberBoroshno” community, the attack resulted in the complete destruction of several of the occupiers’ aircraft.
Specifically, the following were completely destroyed by the strikes:
two military transport aircraft, an An-12 and an An-26;
two Mi-8 helicopters.
Analysts also released satellite imagery and photographs from the scene, which confirm significant damage to equipment on the facility’s grounds.
As a reminder, on September 17, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a Russian S-400 launcher in the Bryansk region. According to Fire Point, the strike was carried out by FP-1 drones, and the launcher itself had previously been used by the Russian military to launch strikes against Kyiv.
Signum pilots destroyed 12 enemy UAVs in a single engagement. Among the downed drones were “Gerberas,” “Shaheds,” “Lancets,” and BM-35s.
