The Ukrainian Armed Forces advanced on three sections of the front at once — ISW
Over the past few days, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have managed to advance into the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. At the same time, Ukrainian forces have halted several offensive operations by the Russian army.
Sumy Oblast
On September 22 and 23, Russian troops continued their offensive operations in the north of the region, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces prevented the enemy from breaking through.
U.S. analysts note that the Russian army is suffering significant losses due to its use of infiltration tactics in the north of the region.
In addition, it is reported that the occupiers carried out a series of airstrikes on Sumy.
Kharkiv Region
Over the past few days, the occupiers have continued offensive operations in the north of the Kharkiv region but have not made any confirmed progress.
In this sector, the positions of Ukrainian and Russian forces are largely intermingled, making it difficult to clearly determine control over specific areas.
Despite this, it is known that the Defense Forces recently advanced in the Kupiansk direction. Geolocation data indicates that Ukrainian forces pushed the enemy west of Kalynove, north of Kupiansk. There have also been reports of Ukrainian military presence near Kalynove and north of Kindrashivka, which is helping to strengthen positions on the flanks of Kupiansk.
Donetsk Oblast
Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers recently achieved successes in the Chasovyi Yar area. According to analysts, Ukrainian troops have advanced in the eastern and central parts of Molocharka, which is located southwest of Chasovoy Yar and north of Kostyantynivka.
In addition, Ukrainian forces have been observed advancing east of Stinka and northeast of Kostiantynivka.
In other parts of the region, Ukrainian forces recently advanced south and southeast of Novopavlivka. Meanwhile, Russian troops either advanced or held their positions southeast of the town.
Zaporizhzhia Region
Defense forces broke through southeast of Oleksandrivka. Ukrainian forces also advanced or held their positions in the southern part of Orikhiv. Meanwhile, Russian forces attempted to penetrate northeast of the city.
It is also known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to successfully disrupt Russian logistical operations in the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Strilkove area of the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, reports indicate that four targets housing Russian security forces were struck simultaneously.
